the worker: mona lxsa
The worker is a project that consisted of making a one minute documentary that tells the story of a worker in a particular field. This documentary focuses on DJ Mona Lxsa, a multi genre international DJ based in Dublin. She’s an independent artist who has played at various venues and at festivals such as Longitude. It showcases life as a DJ from her perspective.
The aim of this documentary was to give viewers a sense of Mona Lxsa’s personality and to inspire people with interests in music. The added VHS tape aesthetic gives off a real, more wholesome touch to the documentary. It takes us behind the scenes and shows us what life is like as a DJ for her.
