engaging the youth and the elderly
There are many questions I wish I had asked my grandparents when they were alive. This is where the topic for my exhibition piece came about. The youth and older generations sit at the opposite ends of the life cycle. They have a lot of years separating them, which can often make them feel unconnected from each other. However, they have a lot in common. They can both learn valuable lessons in life by engaging in conversation and spending time together. This exhibition piece encourages the youth and elderly to engage by highlighting some of the gifts that each generation can offer one another.
