6 am
This project is a visual exploration of morning in the city. Morning officially starts at 6.00am and stops at noon. From blue skies to chirping birds, morning time can often be overlooked. 6am is a morning newspaper that provides a brief oasis of contemplation of this time of the day.
The paper is a typographic newspaper that begins with an alarm clock. Beep. The paper then travels the journey from getting up in the morning to commuting to work taking on different aspects of the morning. The project provided an opportunity to explore morning city life. 6am is a quirky, tranquil peaceful time of the day that signifies a new day/new beginning.
“Be pleasant until ten o’clock in the morning and the rest of the day will take care of itself”
