1969 – the break of the beatles
1969 – The year that changed everything thing. Also known as the year the Beatles finally broke. It is well known that John Lennon was the first to leave the Beatles however within this editorial piece we discover that not everything was as it was led to believe. Explored throughout this book is the conflict and controversy that the band had been internally dealing with during their final years. With segments from past interviews and samples of newspaper articles, we gain insight into the relationships John, Paul, Ringo and George had with each other. The aim being to establish the different personalities of each of the band members and showcase how they as a group came to an end, rather than pinning the blame on one individual.
It begs the question, was Yoko really the problem?
