pedestrian aggression
The project highlights the problem of pedestrian aggression in society today. For many people, few things are more infuriating than slow walkers and those who clog footpaths, while those stuck behind them get angry and annoyed. Pedestrian aggression is something that most people encounter and some find themselves in this situation everyday.
The solution is to create an awareness of this self-inflicted rage and show people how it is our behaviour that must change, encouraging patience, in order for us to happily manoeuvre through our public territory in the future. By creating a film piece, I want to allow people to acknowledge the behaviour in their own lives, to become aware of their intolerance and aggression towards other pedestrians.
