Skateboarding is viewed in a certain light in Limerick that some would consider degrading, which doesn’t represent what the culture truly stands for. Across the world skateboarding has strived into a growing culture and has many attributes that almost go unnoticed. This project is an awareness campaign to give the skate community a voice, to show the public that they are there and that there is so much more to skating. It is an insight of the lives of skaters and how they feel about the need for change. Any one can be a skater, as long as you have the determination and drive. Anything is possible.
