Chris visited the Visual Communications course in late 2010 as part of a series of illustration talks and workshops with other illustrators such as Brenb (www.brenb.net), Una Gildea (www.unagildea.com) and Alan Clarke (www.mralanclarke.com).
We asked Chris what inspires him?
It sounds boring but I think the biggest thing that gives me inspiration for my work is going for walks! For some reason I can figure out most problems in my head and come up with new ideas while out walking. Books are another great source of inspiration so I am continuously buying books, old and new. The internet is another great inspiration but I guess that goes without saying. And other illustrators of course.
