the treacherous villain
The Treacherous Villain, is a children’s book for both adults and children. I wanted to write and illustrate a piece that would be able to encompass the viewing audience of both ages. The concept is based on TV over exposure to children and teens and the negative aspects there in. What I wanted to do was construct something that would create more awareness on the subject and as a result be able to engage with adults, creating a knock on effect in which they would engage with their children. The central character is a shadowy creature that represents the TV itself, but as we progress, we see how we ourselves become treacherous villains through his exposure.
