the gift of dyslexia
As part of my final year project, I have been researching how people with dyslexia view text
on print and screen. For children with a reading disorder it can be very difficult and stressful to read.
The project hopes to address this issue with the developement of a book and app. The book will give insight to someone with dyslexia and how they see and read text. The accompanying app acts as a solution to some of the issues by offering reading preferences regarding background colour, colour gradient, type face and the type colour that is most comfortable for them. The app will modify any text document using users’ preferences. It will also work on phone, tablet and PC.
