In November, we hosted the Institute Designers Ireland Graduate Design Awards and exhibition here at the Limerick School of Art & Design. The awards brought together the very best of Graduate design from 2014, from the disciplines of Animation & Motion, Craft & Furniture, Digital, Fashion, Interior & Architecture, Product, Textile and Visual Communication.
Four of our graduates were part of the 32 graduates shortlisted for the awards: Keith Hurley won in the Animation & Motion category, while Sinead Foley, Sinead, Kruis and Toni Loftus were all highly commended in the Visual Communication category. Keith went on to win the Grand Prix Award, an award given to the project deemed the best overall from the Graduate Design Awards category winners.
Congratulations to each of them on their well-deserved awards, at such a challenging and exciting time for these young graduates, as they embark on their future careers.
